Cut Resistant Gloves - Kevlar and Mechanical

The European EN388 standard is widely used and was developed to help select appropriate hand protection for practically any task, and gloves in this category will usually carry a EN388 compliance number. You'll find the EN388 symbol, along with four numbers that represent the ratings on a scale from 1 to 5 for each of the four types of resistance for which the gloves are tested (abrasion, cut, tear, puncture). These cut resistant gloves will also typically meet the ANSI standard with a cut level designation from "1" (least resistant) to "5" (most resistant).
