Safety Smart Gear’s Return Policy

SSG will accept returns of standard items in the original packaging and condition within 30 days of shipment.

Return Policy Details:

In the event the need arises for a product return, the Buyer must first contact Customer Service  and obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA). Product returned without an RMA document will be refused. Requests for RMA’s must be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of the Product, and all RMA’s must be received within 10 days of the issue date.

All Products returned must be in new condition, in original packaging, and must have manufacturers tags attached.
Not all items are eligible for return. This includes Neese, Tough Duck, or any “Made-To-Order” or Logo Products.
There is a restocking fee for exchange or returns on all Kishigo, Occunomix, GSS & BigBill products.
All Products returned due to Buyer error must be returned prepaid and may be subject to a restocking charge.
If there is a problem with the shipping of an order, backorder, a defective or damaged product, the order will be refunded in full.
Any products submitted for a refund due to buyer error, choosing wrong size or making a different decision, a refund will be issued minus the fees from the payment platform used when processing the order. (PayPal fees, Amazon Pay fees, etc.).

Exchange Policy Details:

Exchanges can be made for a different size of the purchased item, based on availability at the time of processing at our warehouse. 
Shipping is always free for exchanges. Seller will issue credit upon receipt and satisfactory inspection of the returned Product.
Requests for billing credits due to invoicing or freight errors must be made via your Customer Service Representative within 15 days of receipt of the invoice.
Please know your satisfaction is very important to us and we will do all we can to work with you to avoid additional fees and delays.

How to Start Refund/Exchange Process:

Customers can submit a return request by logging into their customer account on, finding the order they wish to return and clicking the Return Items link. Note that customers will not be able to submit a return request for an order that has already been refunded or partially refunded.

Step 1: Login to Your Account.



Step 2: Find item in "Orders" and Click "Return Items" - Make sure item qualifies for returns/exchange. (SEE DETAILS ABOVE)



Step 3: Choose "QTY To Return", then "Return Reason", then "Return Action" and click "Submit Return Request".
