Flame resistant (FR) clothing is certified to standards like NFPA 70E (arc flash) and NFPA 2112 (flash fire), designed to self-extinguish and resist igniting when exposed to electrical arcs or flash fire — required for workers around energized electrical equipment, oil and gas, and petrochemical environments. High visibility (hi-vis) clothing is certified to ANSI/ISEA 107, designed to make workers visible to drivers and equipment operators through fluorescent color and retroreflective tape — required for workers exposed to vehicle or equipment traffic.
