High Visibility Pants - ANSI Class E Reflective Work Pants for Construction & Roadway Work
Safety Smart Gear carries ANSI/ISEA 107-certified high visibility pants for construction workers, roadway crews, flaggers, utility workers, and anyone requiring lower-body hi vis compliance. Hi vis work pants — also called Class E pants when paired with a Class 3 upper garment — carry reflective tape striping on the legs to meet ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 lower-body visibility requirements.
What is ANSI Class E for pants? ANSI/ISEA 107 Class E designates the standard for lower-body hi vis garments including pants, shorts, and gaiters. Class E pants are intended to be worn with a Class 3 upper garment (jacket, vest, or shirt) to achieve full-body ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R Class 3 compliance — the highest level required for workers near high-speed roadways. Class E pants on their own do not constitute Class 3 compliance without a certified Class 3 upper body garment.
