Hi-Vis Convertible Jackets - Jacket-to-Vest & Multi-Piece Systems

Convertible jackets are built around a single concept: one garment that adapts to multiple configurations rather than requiring a worker to own and carry separate pieces for different conditions. The defining feature across this collection is componentry that can be added or removed — zip-out fleece or quilted liners, detachable sleeves that turn a jacket into a vest, and in some cases reversible shells — letting one purchase cover a wider range of weather and task conditions than a fixed single-layer jacket.

The jacket-to-vest conversion is the signature feature for many styles in this category: removing the sleeves (typically via zippers at the shoulder) instantly turns a full jacket into a high-visibility safety vest, useful for workers whose activity level or the ambient temperature changes significantly during a shift — removing sleeves for high-exertion tasks, then zipping them back on for breaks or cooler periods, without changing garments entirely. Many models are also reversible, offering a second color or pattern on the inside layer for additional flexibility, or include a zip-out polar fleece liner that functions as a standalone mid-layer.

Nearly all styles meet ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R, Class 3 certification, with PU-coated waterproof polyester shells and 2" reflective tape. The collection includes 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 bomber-style convertible jackets and 2-in-1 convertible parkas from GSS, OccuNomix, PIP, Pyramex, Radians, Portwest, and Majestic Glove. Use the filters to sort by configuration type, ANSI class, and size.
