Warm and Wind Resistant
This is a solid, cold weather coat. It is pretty warm. The hood is large enough to fit over a hard hat and it is insulated, too. It does a pretty good job of blocking the wind. Big, insulated pockets. I don't like the vertical opening in the breast pocket, but that's how all coats are now; how did that ever become a thing? The main zipper has the big teeth which is the kind that holds up for a long time- even the plastic ones. Small-toothed zippers are garbage. Because it does so well at blocking the wind and doesn't have a fuzzy lining, it can get clammy inside. I use mine only when it's below 20 degrees or when I have my long johns on. I would prefer that the ends of the sleeves were black like it's black on the bottom of the coat; the ends of my sleeves are filthy. Runs just a little big, but pretty close to the right size. No elastic in the sleeves or on the bottom, which is a huge plus! Good value for the money and would definitely recommend it.
